Detail: Your Departments & Teams Client Management The Client Leads run the client management department day-to-day. You work alongside them to bring structure, goals and standards to the department. Escalation priority for all high-level client management issues. You set KPIs, run the weekly rhythm, hold the team accountable. Own the department-level Net Retention Rate (NRR): you are accountable for whether the department is growing, retaining or leaking revenue. Lead all new deal negotiations, contract renewals, pricing adjustments and expansion conversations. Client Leads provide account context and assist but commercial decisions rest with you. Final say on all commercial concessions, trial extensions, pricing holds and scope concessions. Client Leads recommend - you decide. Decide where the Floating Client Manager is deployed, jointly with the relevant Client Lead. When both pods need the Floating CM simultaneously, you break the tie. Activate cross-region backup when a full pod is offline or sustained overload exceeds the Floating CM's capacity. Coach both Client Leads on strategic thinking, commercial judgement and leadership. Finance The FM runs the finance department day-to-day. You work alongside her to bring structure, goals and standards to the department. Take strategy, structure and directives from the Directors and enforce them with and in support of the FM. Make sure reports come in on time, processes are followed and the department operates at the level it should. The Directors set financial targets and review metrics; you make sure the department delivers against them. Dev Team The Director and management team keep technical leadership, architecture, roadmap and build priorities. You take on the operational coordination: making sure other departments feed dev the right information and dev output gets communicated back out. You do not manage the dev team technically or make product decisions. The scope of your involvement in this department will evolve as the role beds in. Operations Take on operational projects from time to time: Project 1: Grow the service industry commercial line by consolidating current clients and building a network of new clients according to the project scope Cross-Departmental Coordination Act as the bridge between departments, especially ensuring information flows to and from the development team. Make sure departments communicate, share what's needed and don't operate in silos. Track deadlines, flag blockers and keep the machine running without the Directors in the middle of every handoff. Core Responsibilities Client Meetings & Admin You support CMs in client meetings ensuring the business is protected and there is always a high-level member of the team present to answer questions. Own client reporting, status updates and chasing teams for client deliverables. First responder on client issues that cross a commercial, reputational or contractual threshold. Enforcement & Follow-Through When the director sets a directive, you make sure it gets done. Push it through the organisation, check progress and report back with results, not reasons it didn't happen. Triage and resolve the day-to-day complaints and queries that come in across departments. The director sees a summary, not every ticket. Projects There is a backlog of projects across departments that need to be built, implemented, and tracked. You take ownership of this, working the project structure with the director, then driving implementation and reporting on what's working and what's not. Build out and own the communication channels between the business and its clients. For example: the communication of new software developments, disaster recovery notices, positive reporting results to clients etc. Enforce implementation timelines and hold departments accountable for delivery Strategy Implementation Collaborate with the director on strategy development. The director sets direction, you make it happen. Drive implementation across departments, translating strategic decisions into operational plans with clear owners, timelines and accountability Automation Roadmap Ensure the automation phases across departments actually ship, not just get planned. You own the delivery timeline and unblock technical or resource barriers.
