Responsible for leading and directing the operations departments and teams, implementing key initiatives in line with Global and Local company Strategies to achieve sustainable growth in sales, profitability and cash flow. Leading, directing and managing the Operations team by; Establishing optimum departmental structures; Ensuring effective Succession Planning; Ensuring fair industrial relations practices; Coaching and mentoring direct reports; Fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration Duties & Responsibilities
Executing SHE policies & procedures and ensuring compliance Ensuring compliance with OHS Act (S16.2) Ensure contractors comply with OHS Act S37; Ensuring compliance to ISO systems (9001:2015, 14001:2015, 45001:2018); Ensuring compliance with SHERQ corporate training requirements; Minimum 4-year Degree Chemical manufacturing/Engineering background Post-graduate qualification (Business Studies) or equivalent
