Management Role - Think and Act Like An Owner

Our client is seeking to appoint a candidate with a strong business acumen. Ideally a sales-oriented person who understands or can adapt to a made-to-order manufacturing environment incorporating sheet-metal and plastic.The General manager will have full operational autonomy and will be responsible for driving excellence across the business (financial controls, sales, procurement, manufacturing, logistics and human resources).

Duties & Responsibilities

Take full responsibility for the company’s performance including

• business goals, strategy, commercial, financial, operational and cultural.

• manage and motivate the sales team to achieve revenue targets, ensuring exceptional customer service.

• develop pricing, marketing, and channel strategies to grow market share.

• retain an exceptional reputation in the industry for having the a great range of interior domestic and commercial products.

• build and improve strategic supplier relationships.

• manage a light manufacturing/assembly " made-to-order" products and and produce high-quality output.

• financial and performance management. P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow performance.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Leadership role for someone who can think and act like an owner . Ideally someone with a  with a strong commercial accumen who has take responsibility for the profitability of a manufacturing business. Possibly someone from light mechanical or plastics or similar manufacturing who can adapt to this unique business with extensive experience in managing all aspects of a similar business with proven results of success.

Package & Remuneration

A salary will be negotiated with the successful encumbant based on experience and performance.
