A leading player in the hospitality, leisure, and entertainment sector, renowned for delivering premium social experiences and cutting-edge interactive entertainment.
As the General Manager, you will hold full operational and commercial responsibility of a social entertainment venue. This is an exciting opening role where you will build your team, set up operations from scratch.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full day-to-day operational control.
- Maintain high service, safety, and compliance standards, including strict adherence to liquor licensing.
- Oversee stock, suppliers, equipment maintenance, daily cash-ups, and cash reconciliation along with other requirements
- Drive financial performance by running the venue to budget, controlling costs, managing labour scheduling, and reporting on P&L to head office.
- Set pricing strategies in conjunction with the head office management and business developer
- Design and execute a dynamic events calendar, including tournaments, social nights, to drive foot traffic and build brand awareness.
- Coordinate joint promotional activities with the centre management.
- Work in conjunction with the business developer in forming strategic relationships with the surrounding residential and estate communities to secure memberships and corporate bookings.
- Represent the venue professionally with an upmarket, socially-connected clientele.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, ongoing rostering, training, and culture-setting for employees
Requirements
- 5+ years of General Manager or senior management experience within a hospitality, leisure, or entertainment venue
- Demonstrated marketing and events experience capable of planning and executing a footfall-driving calendar.
- Proven experience in staff recruitment, leadership, and people management.
- Comfort with cash handling, daily reconciliation, and compliance standards.
- Valid driver's license, own transport, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
- Experience opening a venue from scratch or existing relationships.

Remuneration : Market Related (Flexible, depending on experience)
