- Provide strategic financial leadership aligned with the organisation's long-term objectives.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial and statutory reporting.
- Drive corporate governance, enterprise risk management, and internal control frameworks.
- Oversee mergers, acquisitions, restructures, and asset disposal initiatives.
- Develop and implement financial and operational strategies that support business growth.
- Partner with the Board and Executive Committee on strategic decision-making.
- Oversee finance, treasury, tax, audit, and compliance reporting functions.
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing finance teams while driving succession planning.
- Manage relationships with auditors, shareholders, executive leadership, and other key stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
- CA(SA) qualification (Non-negotiable).
- Extensive executive-level finance leadership experience within a large, complex organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Corporate governance
- Enterprise risk management
- Financial strategy
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Board reporting
- Statutory and regulatory reporting
- Mergers & acquisitions
- Executive leadership
