Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily manufacturing, production and operational activities.
- Ensure production schedules, deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
- Manage warehouse operations, stock flow and the efficient movement of materials and finished products.
- Lead, support and manage middle management and operational teams.
- Monitor workflow, productivity and resource allocation to maximise operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste and control operational costs.
- Ensure effective coordination between production, warehousing and other business functions.
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety and operational discipline.
- Work closely with the Director on operational planning, business performance and strategic initiatives.
- Take ownership of day-to-day operational challenges and implement practical solutions.
- Drive accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience in a manufacturing and production environment .
- Previous experience in a senior operational or management role.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills, including experience managing middle management.
- Solid understanding of production planning, workflow management and warehouse operations.
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A hands-on management approach with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
Package & Remuneration
Location: Sebenza, Edenvale
Salary: R60, 000 gross per month, with room for growth
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00
