Wash, peel, chop, and slice fruits and vegetables. Measure ingredients and help assemble or package meals and take-out orders. Wash and dry dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. Sweep and mop floors, wipe down counters, and sanitize work areas. Unload food deliveries from trucks and store items safely in refrigerators, freezers, and pantries. Restock workstations with necessary supplies. Empty trash cans, replace garbage liners, and dispose of kitchen waste properly.
Requirements
Grade 12 A formal food handling certification will be an advantage At least 1 – 2 years' experience in a similar role Ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy boxes or supplies. Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation rules. Ability to follow instructions quickly and assist cooks or waitstaff as needed
