- This is a part-time coaching position. The coach will be paid a fixed term contract according to their expertise and coaching level. The Girls' College invites applications for the abovementioned position which will be available from January 2027.
- Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced individuals who believe they have the required skills and competencies to take on this position.
The requirements for this position are
- A minimum of 3 years of coaching experience
- A high level of personal netball experience in school, university, and a club environment. Leadership experience is preferable
- Be able to assist within the school's Athletic Development and Physical Education Programme
- Be well acquainted with the Microsoft and Google suite applications
- A commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to fostering and building inclusiveness and diversity.
- An awareness of and willingness to commit to the school's all-round ethos, co-curricular activities and pastoral approach
- Any staff member working within a school is required to have a sexual offender's clearance certificate before employment can commence
The role will include the following
- Attend all Girls' College team practices.
- Attend tournaments and festivals for Girls' College over weekends.
- Minimum Level 1 coaching
- Umpire's grading recommended
- Netball knowledge and experience of schools /senior level coaching
