The Opportunity We are seeking a dynamic, solution-focused In-Store Sales Manager to lead retail operations and elevate the buyer experience at our Tygervalley Showroom. In this role, you will be the face of our brand—consulting with clients, managing custom furniture orders, overseeing visual merchandising, and coaching showroom staff to meet sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Consultation: Warmly greet showroom guests, provide technical product insights, and guide clients through custom options and order placements.
Showroom Operations: Maintain a pristine, welcoming environment and oversee visual merchandising and stock displays.
Team Leadership: Onboard, train, and coach sales staff in product knowledge, upselling, and customer care standards.
Store Administration: Manage invoicing, order tracking, POS entries, and resolve customer inquiries with efficiency.
Brand Collaboration: Partner with management on local promotions and showroom marketing initiatives.
What We Are Looking For
Strong communication and active listening skills.
Proven customer service and retail sales abilities (experience in furniture, interior design, or home decor is a strong advantage).
Solid organizational skills to manage floor displays, paperwork, and daily operational priorities.
Computer literacy and basic proficiency with POS and order management systems.
Ability to stand for extended periods and safely reposition showroom items as needed.
Matric or equivalent; retail or sales management training is a plus.
