Full Stack Developer (JavaScript, Python, AWS & Microservices) - Advanced

Introduction

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join a dynamic global technology team delivering data-driven digital solutions for production and operational environments.

This role involves developing and maintaining modern front-end and back-end applications that support data-based decision-making, lean operational processes, and digital transformation.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain front-end and back-end application solutions.

• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Engage with end users and stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Contribute to user-story refinement, estimation, and delivery planning.

• Design and develop scalable microservices and API-based integrations.

• Ensure solutions meet quality, code-compliance, unit-testing, and delivery standards.

• Identify, manage, and escalate risks, dependencies, and delivery impediments.

• Present proposed technical solutions to Product Owners and relevant stakeholders.

• Prepare and maintain technical and system documentation in line with required standards.

• Provide DevOps and production support for existing solutions.

• Share knowledge and mentor team members where required.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Essential requirements

• 3–5 years’ relevant software development experience.

• Strong JavaScript experience, including modern UI frameworks such as Angular and Node.js.

• Python development experience.

• SQL experience, ideally Oracle and PostgreSQL.

• Experience with RESTful web services and API-based development.

• Experience designing and developing microservices.

• Basic AWS knowledge, including S3, Lambda, Glue, IAM, and QuickSight.

• Cloud architecture and cloud infrastructure knowledge.

• Terraform experience.

• GitHub experience.

• Experience implementing, monitoring, and supporting software solutions.

• Manual and/or automated testing experience.

Advantageous skills

• JSF and Angular.

• AWS PaaS services, including ECS, Fargate, and Lambda.

• Maven or similar build tools.

• Jenkins pipeline provisioning, configuration, maintenance, and security.

• Git and Bitbucket.

• Jira and Confluence.

• DevOps experience.

• Agile ways of working.

• IT Degree or Diploma.
