Introduction

We are seeking an Entry-Level Full Stack Developer to join a dynamic technology team. The successful candidate will contribute to the development, enhancement and support of global IT solutions within an Agile and DevOps environment.

This opportunity is ideal for an IT graduate or junior developer with practical exposure to Java and Angular , who is looking to develop their technical skills within a global technology environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Participate in system analysis, solution design, development and testing of applications and technical products.
  • Develop and maintain applications within an Agile/DevOps delivery environment.
  • Develop and maintain applications using Java, TypeScript, JavaScript and Angular.
  • Contribute to cloud-native development and AI-assisted coding practices.
  • Assist with automating and improving development and software release processes.
  • Create and maintain automated CI/CD deployment pipelines.
  • Assist with quality control and deployment activities.
  • Support the resolution of technical issues and escalated incidents.
  • Contribute to application upgrades, maintenance and continuous improvement.
  • Apply secure development practices and assist in protecting applications against cybersecurity threats.
  • Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • IT Degree or Diploma.
  • Experience or practical exposure to Java applications .
  • Experience or practical exposure to Angular applications .
  • Exposure to AI-assisted software engineering practices.
  • Basic understanding of software development and DevOps principles.
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop within a technical environment.

Essential Technical Skills

  • Programming: Java, TypeScript, JavaScript.
  • Frontend: Angular.
  • CI/CD & Development Tools: Git, Maven, Sonar, Jira, GitHub, GitHub Actions and deployment pipelines.
  • Cloud: AWS or Azure.
  • Databases: Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.
  • Containers: Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Security: Keys, certificates, tokens and secrets.
  • Monitoring: AppDynamics, Dynatrace and/or Grafana.
  • Logging & Alerting: ELK Stack, Splunk, Nagios and/or Kibana.

Advantageous Skills

  • Linux, CRON and Unix filesystems.
  • JSF.
  • Quarkus, GlassFish or GlassFish Micro.
  • Apache or Nginx.
  • Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation.
  • ServiceNow or BMC Remedy.
  • Incident and problem management.
  • Infrastructure as Code.
  • Application security and security testing
