Duties & Responsibilities

A leading technology-focused organisation is seeking a Senior Full Stack C# Developer to join its engineering team. This role is ideal for a developer who is equally comfortable working across backend services, databases, APIs, and Angular front-end applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining modern cloud-hosted applications while contributing to system architecture, performance optimisation, and software quality initiatives. You will work on mission-critical solutions within distributed cloud environments and play a key role in delivering reliable, scalable, and secure applications. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical depth, excellent problem-solving ability, and the confidence to own features across the entire technology stack.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, and Angular.

• Build and support RESTful APIs and backend services.

• Design and optimise relational databases and data access layers.

• Own features from database design through to user interface implementation.

• Develop scalable, cloud-ready applications and services.

• Build resilient integrations and asynchronous processing solutions.

• Implement logging, monitoring, telemetry, and application health checks.

• Develop and maintain automated tests across frontend and backend environments.

• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical planning.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across multiple application layers.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Job Experience and Skills Required

• Relevant qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, or a related field.

• Degree advantageous but not essential.

• 5+ years of software development experience.

• Strong full-stack development background.

• Proven experience working across frontend, backend, and database layers.

• Experience delivering enterprise-scale applications.

• Experience working with cloud-based or distributed systems.

• Strong client-facing and relationship-building abilities.

• C# and .NET Core.

• Angular development.

• ASP.NET Core.

• REST API development.

• SQL and relational database design.

• Entity Framework Core.

• PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar relational databases.

• AWS cloud environments.

• Linux-hosted application environments.

• Docker and containerisation concepts.

• Authentication and authorisation frameworks.

• Git version control.

• Automated testing practices.

• Event-driven architectures and message queues.

• CI/CD pipeline experience.

• AWS services such as S3, ECS, Lambda, RDS, or SQS.

• Power BI or reporting platform exposure.

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to own features end-to-end.

• Strong understanding of scalability, performance, and system reliability.

• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Ability to balance speed, quality, security, and maintainability.

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

• Comfortable working within a highly technical environment.
