Fuel station Manager required in Brakpan
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day operations of the fuel station, including forecourt, shop, and QSR outlets.
- Ensure accurate daily cash‑ups, reconciliations, and banking procedures.
- Oversee stock management, ordering, and conducting weekly/monthly stock counts.
- Monitor fuel sales, shop turnover, and QSR performance against KPIs.
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and compliance standards.
- Supervise and train staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and customer service standards.
- Handle customer complaints and maintain high service levels.
- Manage payroll, scheduling, and staff performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with SARS requirements (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax).
- Prepare and present monthly financial reports to senior management.
- Drive marketing initiatives and local sales promotions to increase revenue.
Maintain equipment and facilities, ensuring operational readiness and compliance.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements
- Matric
- 5+ years’ experience in retail, FMCG, or fuel station operations.
- Proven track record in financial management and operational leadership.
- Strong knowledge of SARS compliance and financial reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with accounting systems (Sage, Pastel, Xero).
- POS systems and fuel management systems experience advantageous.
- Valid driver’s licence.
