Fuel Station Manager / Administrator

Malmesbury

Salary: R15 000 basic per month + fuel allowance

A well-established group within the fuel retail sector is looking to appoint an organised and administratively strong Fuel Station Manager / Administrator for its site in Malmesbury.  This role requires someone with a solid administrative background who can take responsibility for the daily management of the site while ensuring that all paperwork, reporting, stock controls and operational processes are accurately maintained.

The position would suit a reliable and hands-on individual who is comfortable managing staff, addressing day-to-day operational matters and maintaining strong administrative controls. Applicants should live in Malmesbury or within close travelling distance.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 08h00 to 17h00
  • Every second Saturday: 09h00 to 14h00

Minimum Requirements

  • Completed Matric
  • 7+ years' experience in an administrative role is essential
  • Previous supervisory or management experience
  • Computer literate
  • Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport
  • Must live in Malmesbury or within close proximity
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records
  • Confident communication and staff-management skills
  • Able to take responsibility and resolve day-to-day operational matters
  • Fuel station, retail or similar site-management experience would be advantageous

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the fuel station
  • Supervise staff and ensure that shifts are adequately covered
  • Maintain accurate administrative records and site documentation
  • Complete daily paperwork, reports and reconciliations
  • Monitor stock levels, deliveries and stock-related documentation
  • Maintain effective site controls and ensure procedures are followed
  • Manage staff attendance, shift handovers and general performance
  • Address customer queries and operational issues
  • Ensure that the site is kept neat, organised and operating efficiently
  • Report maintenance concerns and operational problems to senior management
  • Liaise with senior management and provide regular operational updates
