We are looking for a skilled Photographer to join an organization on a one-year fixed-term contract and play an important role in documenting events, stakeholder engagements and organizational activities through high-quality visual content.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare for photography assignments and events.
- Capture high-quality photographs using professional camera, lighting and related equipment.
- Edit and retouch photographs using appropriate photo-editing software.
- Organise, manage and archive digital image files.
- Ensure photographic content accurately reflects events and activities.
- Maintain and care for photographic equipment.
Minimum Requirements
- Higher Certificate ( NQF Level 4 ) in Photography, Visual Arts, Digital Media, Multimedia, Film Production or a related field.
- At least 12 months’ practical photography experience , demonstrated through a portfolio, internship, workplace learning programme, volunteer work or freelance assignments.
- A valid driver's licence will be an added advantage.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong photography portfolio and practical photography skills.
- Proficiency in digital photography techniques and photo-editing software.
- Good knowledge of lighting, composition and camera settings.
- Ability to operate and work confidently with photographic equipment.
- Creativity and artistic ability.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good problem-solving and adaptability skills.
- Ability to work professionally in a fast-paced event environment.
