Job Title: Front of House Start Date: 2026-08-24 - 2026-09-30 Vacancy Type: Permanent WDH002515 Sectors: Front of House Housekeeping Location: Limpopo , Greater Kruger Salary: R10,000 - R12,000 Brief: foh|front of house|housekeeping|limpopo|supervisor A five-star, intimate safari lodge in the Greater Kruger area is seeking a polished FRONT OF HOUSE & HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR to join their small, guest-focused team Detail: This is not a purely reception-based role. While front-of-house duties and guest interaction form part of the position, the primary focus is housekeeping - the ideal candidate will be confident leading, training and supporting a small housekeeping team to the standard expected of a luxury lodge. Core Criteria: Previous experience in a luxury lodge, boutique hotel, or similarly high-end hospitality setting strongly preferred Solid, hands-on housekeeping knowledge, including room inspection standards and laundry procedures Demonstrated ability to train, guide and supervise a housekeeping team Experience with stock control and stock takes for linen, amenities and cleaning supplies Strong attention to detail and understanding of luxury presentation standards Confident, guest-focused, and well presented, with the polish to handle front-of-house responsibilities Organised, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of an area Able to lead by example and work effectively within a small team Core Responsibilities: Inspect guest rooms and public areas ahead of arrivals to ensure standards are consistently met Oversee laundry handling - washing, drying, ironing, folding and storage of linen and uniforms - to minimise damage and loss Provide hands-on training to housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, turndown, bed presentation and bathroom standards Monitor adherence to cleaning schedules and checklists, addressing gaps through coaching or corrective action Manage regular stock takes of linen, towels, amenities and cleaning supplies, tracking usage and discrepancies Monitor the condition of linen, towels and equipment, reporting and managing damaged or worn items Keep housekeeping stores organised and properly controlled Allocate daily duties and prepare the housekeeping team for arrivals, departures and stayovers Identify and report maintenance issues found during inspections, following up before guest arrival Support the guest experience by ensuring rooms are prepared with consistent care and attention to detail Assist with front-of-house duties and guest interaction as required On Offer: Salary: R10,000 - R12,000 per month, depending on experience Live-in position, with meals provided while on duty Most uniform items provided Work cycle: six weeks on, two weeks off Employer medical aid contribution after successful completion of a four-month probation period Immediate start show more...
