You’ll own backend-heavy AI systems end to end: multi-modal ingestion pipelines, retrieval and reasoning systems, evaluation loops, and APIs that directly drive real-world decisions. Frontend experience is optional, but a strong plus.

LOOKING FOR A FOUNDING ENGINEER IN CALIFORNIA, USA What We’re Looking For
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals with a strong sense of ownership - you build, deploy, and take responsibility for the systems you ship. • Highly driven and proactive , with a natural bias toward action and a low tolerance for unnecessary delays. • Strong system-design instincts , particularly when it comes to APIs, architecture, and data flows. • Hands-on experience delivering AI or ML systems to real-world users is highly advantageous. • Strong proficiency in TypeScript , along with experience working with data systems and cloud infrastructure. • Comfortable working in ambiguity , moving quickly and effectively in complex, fast-changing, real-world environments. Bonus
- Frontend development experience , particularly with modern JavaScript frameworks.
