Duties & Responsibilities

Job title: Forklift Driver Location: Epping About the Role The Forklift Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, loading, unloading, and storage of raw materials, finished goods, and packaging within the warehouse and production areas. The role supports operational efficiency while maintaining quality, safety, and inventory control standards. Core Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in accordance with company policies and safety regulations. • Load and unload stock, materials, and products from vehicles. • Move raw materials and finished goods between production, storage, and dispatch areas. • Ensure stock is stored correctly and safely in designated locations. • Assist with inventory counts and stock reconciliation activities. • Conduct daily pre-operational forklift inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements. • Accurately complete required documentation and equipment checklists. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. • Adhere to health, safety, food safety, and quality standards at all times. • Support warehouse and production teams in achieving productivity targets. Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Valid Forklift Operator Licence/Certification.
• Exposure to the food and beverage industry or a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse, logistics, or production environment.
• Basic understanding of warehouse processes and stock handling procedures.
• Ability to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required.
