One of our Clients, a leader in the FMCG industry is looking for Forklift Drivers to join their team. Applicants must reside in Vereeniging, Vanderbijlpark or Sasolburg.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate the allocated forklift safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate and stack merchandise in designated storage areas, loading bays and operational areas.
- Maintain 4+ years of continuous forklift operating experience.
- Apply logical reasoning and sound numerical skills when handling stock and completing operational tasks.
- Maintain a high level of attention and awareness to prevent injuries, damage and unsafe working conditions.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- Use basic computer applications confidently.
- Process transactions and operational tasks quickly and accurately.
- Manage time effectively and follow established work processes and procedures.
- Demonstrate excellent hand-eye-foot coordination, balance and spatial awareness, including the ability to judge weights, distances and heights accurately.
- Consistently comply with health, safety and operational requirements.
Requirements, Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
- South African Citizen
- Reside in Vereeniging, Vanderbijlpark or Sasolburg
- Valid Forklift Licence
- 4+ years of continuous forklift operating experience
- 2 contactable Supervisor / Manager references
- Available immediately and currently unemployed
- No criminal record
- Medically fit to perform the duties of the position
- No history of equipment damage or safety incidents
