Forklift Drivers & Reach Truck Drivers

Introduction

A well-established company based in Queensburgh, Durban is looking for experienced Forklift Drivers and Reach Truck Driver s to join their growing team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift or reach truck safely and efficiently.

• Load and offload trucks in accordance with company procedures.

• Move, stack, and store stock accurately within the warehouse.

• Replenish picking locations and transport stock to designated areas.

• Assist with order picking and dispatch activities when required.

• Conduct daily pre-operational equipment inspections and report any defects.

• Ensure stock is handled carefully to prevent damage or loss.

• Follow all warehouse health and safety policies and procedures.

• Maintain a clean and organised work area.

• Work closely with warehouse staff to meet daily operational targets.

• Perform stock movements using RF scanners or warehouse management systems where applicable.

• Assist with stock counts and inventory control when required.

• Complete tasks within specified deadlines while maintaining accuracy and productivity.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Minimum 2 years' experience operating a forklift or reach truck in a distribution or warehouse environment.

• Valid Forklift Licence or Reach Truck Licence (relevant to the position applied for).

• Previous experience with loading, offloading, stacking, replenishment, and stock movement.

• Experience working in a fast-paced distribution centre.

• Good communication skills and attention to detail.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work under pressure.

• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.
