Our client is a well-established manufacturing company looking for a motivated and dependable Forklift Driver to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment, ensuring materials and finished products are moved safely and efficiently while supporting the smooth running of daily operations. Duties & Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate a forklift to move materials, stock and finished products.
- Load and unload deliveries and assist with stock movement.
- Safely transport materials between production and storage areas.
- Assist with stock organisation and maintaining a clean, tidy warehouse.
- Conduct daily forklift inspections and report any faults or maintenance requirements.
- Follow all health, safety and operational procedures.
- Assist the production team with general duties when required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid forklift operator licence or certificate.
- Previous forklift driving experience, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team.
