We work closely with legal, compliance and external law enforcement, and our work directly protects the financial wellbeing of our business clients.
- The team operates in a hybrid environment across office and field settings, with regular engagement at business centres. We value sharp thinking, sound judgement and the ability to adapt across different fraud types and environments.
What you'll do
- Manage investigations end-to-end from initial assessment through to evidence gathering, disciplinary hearings and criminal proceedings, including testifying where required
- Conduct field investigations across Gauteng, including visits to business centres, independently
- Use data and analytical tools including SQL, scripting and graph databases such as i2 Analyst's Notebook to interrogate information and build investigation intelligence
- Identify control weaknesses across processes and recommend practical preventative measures and improvements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external bodies such as SABRIC, SAPS and SAFPS
- Deliver fraud awareness training across the business to strengthen how we collectively prevent and detect fraud
What you'll do

What we're looking for
- 5–6 years' forensic investigation experience, ideally in banking or financial services
- Proven ability to run complex investigations independently from start to finish
- Knowledge of evidence law, court procedures and disciplinary processes, including testifying
- Experience using analytical tools such as SQL, scripting or graph databases
- Valid driver's licence, own vehicle and willingness to travel for field work
- CFE, LLB, BCom or related qualification would be advantageous
