Purpose of the Role: As the Production Team Leader/Supervisor, you will lead a dedicated shift team to meet production targets while ensuring complete adherence to food safety, hygiene, and operational standards. You will bridge the gap between floor operations and senior management, driving continuous improvement and maintaining a safe, high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities: Production & Efficiency: Coordinate and monitor daily production schedules and minimise product waste. Team Leadership: Supervise, motivate, and mentor shift operators. Manage resource allocation and address basic personnel or disciplinary matters. Food Safety & Quality Compliance: Enforce strict compliance with FSSC 22000 v6 protocols and local health and safety regulations. Audits & Documentation: Maintain accurate daily production records and traceability logs. Continuous Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions or continuous improvement initiatives to enhance floor output and safety. Requirements & Qualifications: Experience: A minimum of 3–5 years of supervisory or team leadership experience within a fast-paced food or beverage manufacturing environment. Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Food Safety Management.
