We are looking for a dedicated, energetic, and results-driven Food & Beverage Manager to oversee the daily food and beverage operations at our hotel.
This is an operational role that requires someone who is actively involved in the day-to-day running of the restaurant and bar. The successful candidate must be prepared to work alongside the team, lead by example, maintain high standards, and take full responsibility for the department's performance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage, oversee and actively participate in the daily operations of the restaurant and bar.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the F&B team to maintain high standards of service and professionalism.
- Ensure excellent guest service.
- Manage stock control, stocktakes, purchasing, and wastage to minimise losses.
- Monitor food and beverage costs, budgets, and profitability.
- Ensure all cash-ups, daily reports, and stock variance reports are completed accurately and on time.
- Manage staff scheduling, training, discipline, and performance.
- Ensure that all hotel policies, procedures, and operational standards are followed.
- Work closely with the General Manager to improve efficiency, revenue, and the overall guest experience.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Previous experience in a Food & Beverage management position, preferably within a hotel environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Excellent knowledge of stock control, stocktakes, and cost management.
- Good financial and administrative skills.
- Ability to manage staff effectively and enforce discipline when necessary.
Package & Remuneration
- R25 000 per month
- Monthly profit share
