FOH coffee shop manager

About the Role We are looking for an experienced and motivated Front of House (FOH) Coffee Shop Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the coffee shop.

The ideal candidate will be a confident people manager, passionate about customer service, and able to create a positive, welcoming environment for both customers and staff. Key Responsibilities • Manage and lead the FOH team effectively. • Oversee daily coffee shop operations and shift activities. • Manage staff scheduling, performance, and attendance. • Ensure excellent customer service and a welcoming customer experience. • Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally. • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service. • Support and motivate team members to achieve operational goals. • Ensure company procedures and service standards are consistently followed. • Work hands-on with the team during busy periods. • Assist with opening and closing procedures as required. Requirements • Previous experience in a coffee shop, café, restaurant, or similar FOH management role. • Proven experience managing and motivating staff. • Strong customer service and communication skills. • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities. • A positive attitude and strong work ethic. • Must be a team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. • Reliable and professional. • Own reliable transport is essential. • Flexibility to work shifts, including Sundays.
