FMCG Logistics Foreman: Marble Hall, Limpopo

Desired experience and qualifications

• Matric
• Minimum 3 years' supervisory or management experience in FMCG logistics, dispatch, warehousing and production.
• Experience in the animal-feed or agricultural manufacturing industry will be advantageous.
• Practical experience in staff supervision, production planning and dispatch coordination.
• Strong computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Experience compiling operational reports and working with performance data.
• Sound knowledge of occupational health and safety, quality and compliance requirements.
• Valid driver's licence.

Duties and Responsibilities will include

• Manage daily logistics and dispatch operations.
• Coordinate customer deliveries and ensure on-time delivery.
• Plan vehicle loading and dispatch according to customer requirements.
• Monitor fleet movements and turnaround times.
• Ensure legal axle and gross vehicle mass compliance.
• Prepare and manage daily and weekly production schedules.
• Coordinate production with customer demand and stock availability.
• Supervise dispatch staff, including weighbridge operators, bulk loaders, forklift drivers and cleaning personnel.
• Manage staff allocation, attendance, leave, overtime and shift planning.
• Conduct toolbox talks and manage performance and disciplinary processes.
• Manage and monitor site biosecurity requirements.
• Ensure trucks are cleaned and disinfected according to procedures.
• Investigate and resolve biosecurity deviations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and company requirements.
• Investigate incidents, customer complaints and non-conformances.
• Maintain SOPs, work instructions and dispatch documentation.
• Compile operational and KPI reports.
• Analyse operational data using Excel.
• Maintain information on relevant operational systems.
