• Matric, or equivalent qualification • Relevant Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Management or a related field • Up to 2 years' relevant experience in FMCG, distribution or wholesale • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and other computer literacy • Good written and verbal communication skills • Strong attention to detail and highly organised • Valid SA driving license and own reliable vehicle ADVANTAGEOUS:
• Buying or procurement exposure • Experience working with ERP or stock management systems • Understanding of stock, GP, margins and purchasing • Previous internship or graduate programme experience DUTIES
• Capture and maintain purchase orders • Track deliveries and outstanding purchase orders • Monitor stock levels and identify potential stock risks • Assist with stock analysis, slow-moving stock and aged inventory • Follow up with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries and outstanding issues • Monitor pricing, promotions and supplier deals • Assist with invoice, credit and stock-related queries • Maintain accurate buying records and documentation • Capture and reconcile information across internal systems and prepare reports • Communicate with warehouse, finance, sales and operations teams • Follow up on outstanding action points and ensure deadlines are met • Provide general administrative support to the buying department Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience
