Our client, based in the Southern Suburbs, is looking for an individual who is proactive, has good attention to detail and wants to form part of a growing team. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, take ownership of their work, demonstrate accountability, and be committed to continuous learning and professional development within the print and advertising industry. Detail: Requirements Matric certificate (Grade 12) with a DTP qualification or certification. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a prepress or DTP environment. Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, with strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. Good understanding of DTP software and prepress workflows. Knowledge of digital printing processes and print file preparation. General understanding of the printing industry and production processes. Flexographic (Flexo) prepress experience will be advantageous. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines. Responsibilities Prepare electronic artwork and production files for flexographic plate and cutter manufacturing for label production. Prepare print-ready and cut files for digital signage and large-format printing equipment. Produce artwork and print files for internal printing and publishing requirements. Prepare, amend, and proof client artwork for production using both digital and flexographic printing processes. Create, update, and maintain customer artwork and design files. Ensure artwork complies with technical specifications, print standards, and customer requirements. Perform preflight checks and make necessary artwork corrections before production. Provide technical support and assist machine operators with troubleshooting related to artwork and print files. Maintain accurate file management and version control for customer artwork. Work closely with production and sales teams to ensure quality standards and delivery deadlines are achieved.
