Introduction

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Fleet Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the company fleet, ensuring that vehicles are compliant, well-maintained, and operating efficiently while managing fuel reconciliation and fleet documentation.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage all fleet administration functions.
  • Coordinate vehicle licensing and ensure all licenses remain current.
  • Maintain accurate vehicle servicing and maintenance records.
  • Monitor and reconcile fuel usage and consumption.
  • Schedule and track vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Conduct and record regular vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain access cards, vehicle documentation, and fleet records.
  • Ensure all fleet documentation is accurate, up to date, and compliant.
  • Liaise with service providers and internal departments regarding fleet-related matters.
  • Prepare fleet reports and assist with administrative duties as required.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • Diploma in Fleet Management or a related qualification.
  • Valid Code 08 driver's license.
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
  • Highly computer literate with strong MS Office skills.
  • Sound knowledge of:
  • Vehicle licensing.
  • Fleet administration.
  • Fuel reconciliation and consumption reporting.
  • Vehicle servicing and maintenance schedules.
  • Vehicle inspections.
  • Fleet document management.

Experience Required

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Fleet Administration.
  • At least 2 years' experience in fuel reconciliation and fuel consumption management.

Additional Requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexible and able to work outside normal hours when required.
  • Willingness to travel overnight on occasion.
