- Qualified Fitter & Turner Trade Tested
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience
- Experience in Chrome Plant Maintenance will be highly advantageous
- Good knowledge of conveyor belts and conveyor systems
- Experience with Jaw Crushers
- Experience with VSI Crushers
- Knowledge of screens and feeders
- Experience with slurry pumps
- Strong mechanical maintenance and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be medically fit
- Available to start ASAP
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on plant equipment
- Conduct inspections, fault-finding and preventative maintenance
- Maintain and repair conveyors, crushers, screens, feeders and slurry pumps
- Identify mechanical faults and ensure equipment is kept operational
- Follow all safety procedures and maintenance standards
