Detail: Qualification Trade Tested / Red Seal Fitter and Turner Requirements 10-15 years of post-apprenticeship maintenance experience in a production environment, preferably within packaging manufacturing. Own transport is required. The ability to make detailed technical drawings. passion for maintaining and optimizing equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Duties Perform both planned and breakdown maintenance on mechanical equipment. Respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime for production. Inspect machinery, equipment, and buildings, and carry out scheduled maintenance. Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust equipment as necessary to keep production running efficiently. Be able to manufacture parts when require in an emergency situation to get the machine up and running. Must be able to make drawings of parts with precision to give to a manufacturer. Use welding equipment to fuse structural components and assemble mechanical systems. Participate in a standby roster for after-hours support when necessary. show more...
