Duties & Responsibilities
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (IFRS for SME’s)
- Strong ability to compile annual working paper files and annual financial statements on Caseware / Draftworx
- Knowledge of Inter-Vivos Trusts and compilation and taxation thereof (preferred)
- Exposure to independent reviews in terms of ISRE2400
- Familiarity with corporate tax preparation and compliance (ITR14, IRP6, DTR01, Public Officer Appointments, Registrations)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer focus
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Recognised diploma/degree in accounting or incomplete degree but in final year of degree
- 3+ years of experience in an accounting environment (in practice)
- Completed SAIPA/CIMA/ACCA/SAICA articles (essential)
- Driver’s licence essential
- Own vehicle essential
Package & Remuneration
Market related CTC per month depending on qualification and experience
