We are seeking a hands-on, operationally strong Financial Manager to oversee the complete financial ecosystem, internal auditing, and statutory governance functions across our group companies. The ideal candidate will seamlessly bridge the gap between high-level financial reporting and daily operational controls, including extensive inventory management and payroll oversight. Detail: Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Management: Prepare accurate monthly Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Excel-based analytical graphs. Manage cash flow, authorise supplier payments, and optimise call account transfers daily. Taxation & Compliance (SARS): Manage monthly VAT and PAYE reconciliations. Oversee Easy File submissions for EMP501 and handle all provisional tax checking and SARS audits. System Administration (Sage 200): Maintain Sage 200 system workflows, manage user permissions, layout documents, and resolve operational system issues. Inventory & Asset Control: Coordinate monthly physical stock counts via Asamco, generate import CSV files, run valuation reports, and reconcile discrepancies back to Sage 200. Process asset register depreciation journals monthly. Corporate Governance & HR Oversight: Take statutory accountability for BEE budgets, Employment Equity compliance, and Workplace Skills Plans (WSP). Supervise finance team personnel (including recruitment and direct reports). Qualifications & Experience BCom Honours in Accounting or equivalent financial degree. Registered professional designation is highly advantageous (SAIPA, CIMA/CGMA). 5+ years of comprehensive financial management experience, preferably within a manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environment. Deep operational expertise in Sage 200 and specialized inventory management platforms. Proven experience managing payroll and statutory filings for a workforce size of 150+ staff.
