They are a leading South African cherry producer seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Manager to oversee the financial operations of multiple business entities. This role is responsible for managing the full finance function, including accounting, budgeting, payroll, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and intercompany transactions. Working closely with Farm Managers and senior leadership, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, supporting strategic decision-making, and contributing to the continued growth and success of the business. Detail: Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full financial function across multiple business entities, ensuring accurate accounting, financial reporting, and statutory compliance. The role includes managing supplier payments and operational expenses, administering the payroll function, preparing and monitoring budgets in collaboration with Farm Managers, and analysing financial performance through variance reporting. Additional responsibilities include overseeing SARS compliance, employee pension fund and medical aid administration, company insurance, customer contracts, and the fixed asset register. The Financial Manager will also manage intercompany invoicing, ensure the accuracy of the FarmTrace and Xero integration, and maintain compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and internal controls while supporting the ongoing financial success of the business. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, or a related field. Completed SAICA Articles. 2–3 years' experience in a similar Financial Manager or senior accounting role. Strong financial management and accounting expertise. Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Knowledge of SARS legislation and statutory compliance requirements. Experience managing multiple entities and agricultural or farming operations will be advantageous. Proficiency in Xero and other accounting systems.
