• Manage the day-to-day finance function and finance team • Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets, cash flow forecasts and financial reports • Oversee reconciliations, journals, debtors, creditors and payment processes • Manage VAT, PAYE, Customs and other statutory tax requirements • Analyse costs, pricing, margins and actual performance against budget • Maintain effective financial controls, accounting procedures and fixed asset records • Manage external audits and ensure statutory compliance • Provide management with accurate financial information and meaningful business analysis • Oversee banking, foreign exchange, supplier and other financial processes Requirements:
• Proven experience in a Financial Manager or senior finance role • Strong manufacturing environment experience essential • Solid financial and accounting knowledge with strong reporting and analytical skills • Advanced Excel and MS Office skills • Experience managing and motivating a finance team • Strong knowledge of reconciliations, journals, AP / AR and statutory requirements • Excellent attention to detail, organisation and problem-solving ability • Able to work independently, under pressure adhering to tight deadlines • A hands-on, professional and commercially minded approach Correspondence will only be conducted with short listed candidates.
