Financial Manager (Investment Management)

Leading investment management company seeks a Financial Manager. CA(SA) with approx 2-3 years post qualifying working experience from within financial services. Exposure to asset management / investment management is highly advantageous.

This position reports to the CFO. We seek a confident, dynamic candidate, able to engage at EXCO level and work in a pressurised, complex work environment.

The role is responsible for managing core financial processes including intercompany accounting, management accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, variance analysis and payroll oversight. In addition, the FM will provide operational oversight and support across the company's people and office administration functions.

The FM will take ownership of the transactional and operational finance functions, as well as being responsible for the annual audits and review for several companies, allowing the CFO to focus on strategic initiatives and business growth. Exposure to a multi-currency environment is an added advantage.

Relevant candidates within leading Audit firms will also be considered. Here, exposure to asset management / financial services / investment management audit is essential.

Candidate should have strong academics, excellent interpersonal skills and above average computer literacy.
