- As our FM – Innovation to join our Finance innovation team, combining both technical prowess and profound business acumen. The candidate will be instrumental in automating business processes, developing advanced data models, and driving business growth. This role is suited for those who possess a blend of strong financial analysis or management background coupled with deep technical knowledge.

What you'll own
- Become an Anaplan Model builder and help build out the FP&A process on the platform
- Assist finance in going from manual to automated processing.
- Identify and address bottle necks in the finance workflows
- Assist in the process of ERP implementation and feature enhancements
- Build out financial reporting models
- Deep dive into finance operations to understand, analyze, and identify areas for automation.
- Drive process improvements by integrating financial, business, and technical insights.
- Design and implement both interim and fully productionised solutions
- Be the liaison between Finance department and Tech department on technical builds
- Own project implementations from inception to user adoption and full operational use
- Research, source and cost the use of outsourcing where necessary
- Management expectations and have regular update meetings
- Ensure high quality of all project outcomes before the completed product is presented to the end user
- Improving/automating of finance recon and reports and processes for finance team to use
- Being a data custodian for finance and divisional reports
Requirements
Experience we're looking for
- CA SA / CFA / Engineering
- 5+ years of work experience including Articles
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PowerBI.
- Experience with SQL server environment is a plus.
- Sage X3 or 300 experience
- Anaplan Model building proficiency highly advantageous
- Demonstrated ability in building and managing data models and reporting layers.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Proven track record of automating business processes leading to operational efficiency
- PowerBI data flows.
- Ability Design, implement, and maintain scalable data models to cater to business needs.
- Ability to manage and make sense of complex data sets
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Keep updated with the latest in the field of business process automation and data management.
