- Provide general administrative and financial support to the Finance team.
- Assist with accounting and finance-related duties as required.
- Capture, process and maintain financial information accurately.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of financial documentation.
- Perform basic reconciliations and data checks under supervision.
- Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Support the Finance team with reporting and other routine finance activities.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and within required deadlines.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures and internal controls.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to the team environment.
- Undertake additional finance-related tasks and learning opportunities as required.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Completed BCom Degree in Accounting.
- Computer literate, with a willingness and ability to learn relevant financial systems and software.
- Currently unemployed.
- No formal working experience.
- Has not previously completed an internship.
- Has no outstanding bursary commitments that require a period of work-back.
Additional Requirements
- The candidate must be able to provide their own accommodation for the duration of the internship.
- The candidate must have their own reliable transport to and from the workplace.
- Candidates should preferably reside within reasonable travelling distance of the mines located along the R37 between Polokwane and Burgersfort, Limpopo.
- The internship is intended for a graduate who has not yet gained formal workplace experience and is seeking an opportunity to develop practical accounting and finance skills.
