An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Finance Director (EE) to join the Executive Management Team of a leading multinational Industrial Solutions / Electrical Component / Distribution organisation. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping business strategy while providing full financial stewardship, governance, risk management, and commercial leadership across the South African business. Detail: Key Responsibilities - Provide strategic financial leadership as a trusted business partner to the Managing Director and Executive Management Team. - Drive business performance through effective P&L management, financial planning, analysis, and commercial decision-making. - Ensure robust financial governance, compliance, statutory reporting, audits, tax, and risk management. - Lead and develop the Finance function while providing strategic oversight of Corporate Services and collaborating closely with IT and Business Intelligence teams. - Champion operational excellence, cost optimisation, working capital improvements, and continuous process enhancement. - Contribute to regional and global transformation initiatives aligned with Group objectives. Advanced Excel skills, SAP4 Hana, Business Objects and BI tool proficiency essential What We're Looking For ✔ CA(SA) qualification (essential). ✔ Minimum 5 years' progressive financial leadership experience with increasing levels of responsibility. ✔ Demonstrated executive-level business partnering and full P&L ownership. ✔ Strong expertise in IFRS, SA GAAP, UK GAAP, taxation, governance, statutory reporting, audits, compliance, and enterprise risk management. ✔ Experience within a multinational, distribution, or industrial environment is highly advantageous. ✔ Proven leadership experience across Finance, Corporate Services, and Compliance functions. ✔ Experience collaborating with or overseeing IT, Data, and Business Intelligence teams. ✔ Advanced analytical and reporting capabilities, with strong systems knowledge (SAP S/4HANA, Business Objects, BI tools, and advanced Excel advantageous).
