Start free — we apply for you →- A national client is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to manage the day-to-day finance function. The ideal candidate should have a BCom in Accounting/Finance, previous Financial Controller experience, strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills.
- The role would suit someone who is comfortable working in a small finance team, with two staff members reporting to them, and who enjoys a hands-on, operational environment. Proficiency in MS Office, a valid driver's licence and own transport are essential.
Responsibilities - must have
- Manage debtors, creditors, cash flow and working capital
- Oversee reconciliations, journals and monthly management reporting
- Ensure SARS and statutory submissions are completed timeously
- Maintain fixed asset and insurance records
- Manage and support the finance team
- Coordinate the annual external audit
This position is available for an immediate start and preference will be given to candidates who are available at short notice.
