What you’ll be doing if you get the job

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing detailed financial and operational analysis to support and guide strategic initiatives for the company and its subsidiaries. This role involves assisting in the planning and setting up budgets and working within those parameters to improve, expand and create efficiencies within the relevant departments.

Duties & Responsibilities

Who’ll you report to

You’ll be based within our Sales and Distribution division at our head office in Sandton, Johannesburg, and you’ll report to the Executive: Client and Distribution Operations.

Your Outputs (include but is not limited to)

Budget Process

• Setting up budgets

• Target setting for sales volumes

• Managing expense ratios

• Delivery of Ad Hoc business models

Monthly Expense Reporting

• Reporting on variance of expenses to budget

Recruitment & Expansion

• Managing sales & distribution capacity

• Delivery of Executive directives for growth and expansion

• Distribution Office capacity management

• Office support planning

Remuneration Structures

• Developing and implementing remuneration structures

• Managing remuneration expense

Cost Allocation

• Managing distribution cost allocation

• Managing distribution expenses (Ad Hoc requests)

Contracting

• Oversee contracts of Sales & Distribution staff

• Manage contracting with external parties for business related matters

Attending all meetings relevant to operations

Ad hoc queries on a daily basis

Skills

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• MS office and PC literature

• Good Excel skills

• Strong administrative and multitasking abilities

Your Qualifications and experience

•You must have passed Grade 12 / Matric – Essential

•B.Com/BSc or related degree – Essential

•CA or CIMA qualification – Beneficial

Package & Remuneration

R55 000 TCTC (excluding 20% six-monthly incentive)
