Start free — we apply for you →- An established financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Financial Advisor to provide holistic financial planning and wealth management solutions to existing and newly acquired clients.
- This is an exciting opportunity for a relationship-driven financial professional who is passionate about delivering personalised financial advice, building long-term client relationships, and helping clients achieve their financial goals through tailored investment, insurance, retirement, and estate planning solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional financial advice in accordance with FAIS legislation and financial planning best practices.
- Deliver holistic financial planning, including financial needs analysis, risk assessments, retirement planning, estate planning, and intergenerational wealth planning.
- Develop tailored financial plans aligned with each client's unique financial objectives.
- Recommend appropriate investment and life insurance solutions based on client needs.
- Build and manage a sustainable financial advisory practice by developing long-term client relationships.
- Engage regularly with clients as their financial circumstances and objectives evolve.
- Conduct annual financial reviews and provide ongoing financial guidance.
- Present investment and life insurance solutions as part of a holistic financial planning offering.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless and coordinated client experience.
- Support the development of junior advisors within the broader advisory team.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure all advice is appropriately documented.
- Operate in accordance with business strategies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- Certified Financial Planner CFP qualification will be advantageous.
- 5–7 years' experience within the financial services industry, preferably in financial advisory or legal advisory roles.
- Proven experience delivering holistic financial planning solutions.
- Strong understanding of long-term insurance products and financial markets.
- Knowledge of income tax and estate duty legislation.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining financial planning competencies.
