- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the business
- Lead and supervise the finance team, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial records
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Monitor financial performance and provide insightful analysis to support business decisions
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax legislation, and internal controls
- Manage audit requirements and liaise with external auditors
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies within the finance function
- Support senior management with financial planning and strategic initiatives
Minimum Requirements
- BCom Accounting, Finance, or related qualification
- 5+ years' experience in a finance role, with supervisory or team leadership exposure
- Experience preparing management accounts and overseeing the full finance function
- Strong understanding of IFRS, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience within Telecommunications, Technology, ICT, or a fast-paced commercial environment will be highly advantageous
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
