Based in City Deep, this opportunity is ideal for an immediately available CA(SA) who thrives in a fast-paced, operationally intensive environment where no two days are the same. The role is a 6 month FTC to assist the company with a backlog of financial work. If you are up for the challenge, keep reading.

Job Experience and Skills Required

Education

• Qualified CA(SA) is essential .

• BCom Accounting or equivalent undergraduate qualification.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years' post-article experience as a Financial Accountant.

• Proven experience within a multinational, logistics, industrial, manufacturing, environmental services or other high-volume operational business.

• Strong month-end reporting and financial close experience.

• Experience dealing with backlogs, prior-period clean-ups or audit remediation work will be highly advantageous .

• Solid experience with fixed assets, inventory and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Candidates must be immediately available or available on short notice.

Skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.

• Experience working on an ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or similar).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• High attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Ability to prioritise and work through high volumes of historical financial data.

Non-negotiable

• CA(SA) qualification is essential.

• Immediate availability.

• Ability to commit to a 6-month fixed-term contract .

• Own reliable transport to commute to City Deep .
