Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the Finance function
- Perform reconciliation of complex debtor and subcontractor accounts
- Review and approve purchase orders and rebate requests
- Conduct internal audits and ensure the completeness and accuracy of supporting documentation
- Oversee bank reconciliations
- Compile monthly financial reports and present feedback to management
- Apply and manage customer price increases within the ERP system
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective financial controls and processes
- Monitor departmental performance and provide regular reporting to management
- Lead, mentor, develop, and support the finance team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement
- Provide financial guidance and support to the Sales and Transport departments as required
- Assist with operational finance duties during periods of high workload or staff absences
