Job Title: Finance Manager Start Date: 2026-07-14 - 2026-08-31 Vacancy Type: Permanent PTA000437 Sectors: Financial Services Location: Gauteng , JHB - Northern Suburbs Salary: Brief: Job Specification: Financial Manager Location: Sandton, Gauteng Industry: Business Networking & Professional Services Employment Type: Permanent Salary: Market Related Position Overview The Financial Manager will be responsible for the overall financial management of the business, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, cash flow management, and strategic financial planning. In addition, this role requires managing the Director's personal finances, including investments, budgeting, tax coordination, and personal financial administration. The successful candidate will possess exceptional financial acumen, strong attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Detail: Key Responsibilities Corporate Financial Management Oversee the full financial function of the organisation. Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning. Monitor company performance against budgets and provide financial insights. Prepare annual financial statements and coordinate external audits. Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax legislation, and statutory requirements. Manage VAT, PAYE, Income Tax, and other statutory submissions. Review and approve reconciliations, journals, and general ledger transactions. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes. Develop and implement financial policies and internal controls. Liaise with auditors, banks, financial institutions, and external stakeholders. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and operational efficiencies. Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior management. Director's Personal Financial Management Manage the Director's personal budget, cash flow, and financial planning. Coordinate personal investments, banking relationships, and asset management. Prepare personal financial reports and expenditure analyses. Manage personal accounts, payments, and financial commitments. Coordinate with tax practitioners regarding personal tax matters. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all personal financial information. Assist with estate planning administration and insurance portfolio management where required. Manage ad hoc financial and administrative requests for the Director. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional qualification (CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, or SAIPA) will be highly advantageous. Strong knowledge of IFRS, South African tax legislation, and financial reporting standards. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience working on ERP/accounting systems such as Sage, Xero, Pastel, SAP, or similar. Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
