Financial Leadership & Reporting
- Lead and oversee the full finance function across the business.
- Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure timely delivery of management accounts and executive reporting packs.
- Drive the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Analyse financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
- Deliver meaningful financial insights to optimise profitability and business performance.
Technical Accounting & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, regulatory requirements, and statutory obligations.
- Manage and oversee the implementation and application of IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 .
- Strengthen internal controls, governance frameworks, and risk management processes.
- Lead the annual external audit process and manage relationships with auditors.
- Oversee tax compliance, VAT submissions, and statutory reporting obligations.
Operational Finance Management
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury activities.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Monitor key financial metrics and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
- Drive process optimisation and operational efficiencies across the finance function.
- Partner with business leaders to support growth initiatives and strategic projects.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence.
- Collaborate closely with operational and executive leadership teams to achieve organisational goals.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- CA(SA) or CIMA qualification (essential)
- Postgraduate finance-related qualification advantageous.
Experience
- 810 years' experience in a senior financial management role.
- Proven track record managing a full finance function.
- Strong experience within a reporting-intensive environment.
- Practical experience applying IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 ( non-negotiable ).
- Extensive exposure to budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
- Experience managing audits and engaging with external stakeholders.
- Healthcare, medical, pharmaceutical, or related industry exposure will be highly advantageous.
