Minimum Requirements
• CA(SA) qualification is non-negotiable. • Minimum 5 years' post-articles experience in a Financial Manager role. • Proven experience within the logistics, transport, construction or engineering sectors is essential. • Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, budgeting, forecasting and financial controls. • Advanced ERP systems and Microsoft Excel proficiency. • Excellent leadership, analytical and stakeholder management skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full finance function and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and financial statements.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
- Drive financial planning, commercial analysis and strategic decision-making.
- Manage statutory compliance, taxation, VAT and external audits.
- Monitor internal controls, governance and risk management processes.
- Analyse operational performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and efficiencies.
- Partner with operational management to support business growth and project performance.
- Manage and develop the finance team while ensuring continuous process improvement.
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, working capital, fixed assets and inventory reporting.
- Liaise with auditors, financial institutions and external stakeholders.
