- Providing administrative and operational support to the Finance Officer.
- Validating financial data and information captured on the Kwantu system.
- Assisting with the preparation and collation of supporting documentation for payments.
- Reviewing financial documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance with internal finance policies and procedures.
- Assisting with the capturing, filing and maintenance of accurate financial records.
- Supporting the Finance team with financial administration and general finance-related tasks.
- Assisting with the preparation of financial information and reports as required.
- Following up on outstanding financial documentation and assisting with resolving discrepancies under the guidance of the Finance Officer.
- Supporting the finance function in maintaining proper audit trails and organised financial records.
- Assisting with other finance-related projects and duties as required.
- Promoting and embodying NACOSA's values in all work performed.
Requirements
- Relevant Diploma N6 Certificate from a recognised TVET College
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Auditing, or a related field or currently studying towards one.
- Previous internship or work experience in a finance/administrative role is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting processes and procedures
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills required.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Understanding of financial policies, procedures, and compliance principles.
