We are seeking an organised, accountable finance professional who takes ownership and brings solutions rather than problems. We are looking for an experienced Finance Coordinator / Bookkeeper to take charge of our day-to-day finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing debtors, creditors and monthly reconciliations
- Preparing accurate monthly financial reports and age analyses
- Monitoring cash flow, budgets and expense control
- Overseeing VAT, payroll finance processes and statutory deadlines
- Supervising junior finance/admin staff
- Investigating discrepancies and reporting financial risks to management
Requirements
- 57+ years'' experience in a similar finance role, including 3+ years at senior/supervisory level
- Relevant financial qualification (Diploma/Degree in Accounting or Finance; BCom or professional affiliation advantageous)
- Strong debtors, creditors, reconciliation and reporting experience
- Advanced Excel and accounting software skills
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability
This is not a basic finance clerk role we require a strong individual who can take ownership of the finance function and grow with the company.
